St Joseph’s Café is a student led project that arose from the need to enhance the school’s existing contemporary philosophy of connecting learning to life.

The Café is instrumental in teaching life skills as well as providing opportunities for students to apply their knowledge and skills in many curriculum areas including science, literacy, numeracy and health.

The Café is well supported by senior teachers and the school’s chef. Grade 6 students plan, cook and serve food in the Café on a fortnightly basis.
